Mindfulness Grief & Loss Support Group

2nd and 4th Monday Evenings of the Month
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, PST.
Online In Zoom.

Grief is a natural state of the heart to be acknowledged. It's not something we get over, it becomes integrated within us through time and into our ongoing life experiences. Grief and loss appear in many forms and quite often may feel overwhelming. It touches all of us at some point, though often our culture does not give us the time or support we need to heal, leaving us feeling isolated and unsure.

Through group sharing that utilizes mindfulness reflective skills and contemplative reflection, we can begin to feel whole and safe even in the midst of tremendous grief. Our ongoing support group provides an opportunity for coming together with others so that we can be heard and become more embodied around the losses and griefs of our life.

Facilitated by Rik Center, Co-founder of the Mindfulness Care Center. Rik is a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, a certified SEP - Somatic Experiencing Stress and Trauma Counselor/Practitioner, and a Buddhist/Interfaith Chaplain having served at San Francisco General Hospital and CPMC Hospitals. He presently sits on the Professional Advisory Group For Spiritual Care for CPMC/Sutter Health Hospitals in San Francisco.
