Tuesday Evening Mindful Meditation (Copy)

  • Mindfulness Care Center San Francisco USA (map)

Mindfulness meditation allows everyone to gain the tools of slowing down, new insights into life, themselves and opportunities for inner growth. Meditation offers the opportunity to slow down and look within.

Guided Meditation ~ Reflection ~ Q & A ~ Community Connection.
Open To Everyone: Beginners or Advanced Meditation Practitioners.

We are able to meet online and practice together. Science has shown that by lowering stress our immune system can be strengthened. The Sunday Morning Weekend meditation is offered on a donation basis, no one turned away. We are supported by the practice of shared generosity.

The meditation is led by Rik Center, Cofounder of the Mindfulness Care Center. Rik is Author of the Book: "If You Can''t Change Your Mood, Change Your Mind ~ mindful reflections toward self-discovery."
Rik began a meditation practice in the late 80’s. He's a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, a certified SEP - Somatic Experiencing Stress and Trauma Counselor/Practitioner and Buddhist/Interfaith Chaplain. Rik has a Mindful-Somatic Private Practice working with clients in bringing resolution to long-held stresses, unresolved anxieties and PTSD, plus offering grief & loss support. Rik has served as a Buddhist/Interfaith Chaplain at San Francisco General Hospital and CPMC Hospitals. He presently sits on the Professional Advisory Group For Spiritual Care for CPMC/Sutter Health Hospitals in San Francisco. He''s a member of the USABP/United States Association Of Body Psychotherapy.
