Tuesday Evening Meditation Class
Weekly, Ongoing class from 7:00PM - 8:45PM
Open To Everyone: Beginners or Advanced Meditation Practitioners.
Our group utilizes a vipassana practice of “insight awareness” meditation which offers us the opportunity to slow down and look within.
“The depth of sitting in stillness with a compassionate heart is limitless.”
The evening consists of a 35/40 minute sitting, talk and discussion.
Classes are offered on a dana/donation basis.
Registration is not required. Everyone is Welcome.
The group is lead by Rik Center Co-Founder of the MCC/Mindfulness Care Center. He's an SE/Somatic Experiencing Stress and Trauma Counselor/Practitioner, Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, plus he serves as a Buddhist/Interfaith Chaplain at San Francisco General Hospital. His private practice focuses on healing high levels of stress, unresolved traumatic anxiety and PTSD along with offering grief and spiritual counseling. Rik began his meditation practice in the late 80’s and has been a community member of Spirit Rock Meditation Center and Abhayagiri a “Theravada Thai Forest Monastery” in Redwood Valley practicing in the Ajahn Chah Lineage.
