Mindfulness of Self-Care is designed to support you in cultivating balanced, sustainable, and nourishing self-care practices.
You will learn how mindfulness and awareness build the foundation to establishing self-care practices that honor you and your body.
In this 4-week series, we will uncover and shift limiting beliefs and habits and empower one another to build resilience and worthiness.
This class will enable you to:
Imagine what it would be like to care for yourself in a loving way instead of seeing it as an obligation. What if you gave yourself permission to make bold choices to claim what your body needs, deserves, and desires? In our society, we are encouraged to work longer and harder, flawlessly balance work, relationships and children, and maintain a fit body. We have learned to override our needs and desires. In the Mindfulness of Self-Care series, you will learn how to take your hand off the override button, honor what is present, and take the steps to prioritize yourself.
Through experiential exercises, guided imagery and meditations, group discussions, and mindful-awareness teachings, we will tap into the the body to connect with our core selves and identify needs and desires.

Facilitator: Kayleigh Martin is a certified embodied wellness coach and guided imagery practitioner, and 500-Hour Yoga Alliance certified teacher and holds her M.A. in Integrative Health Studies. With a deep understanding of how disconnection between the mind, body, and spirit can create suffering and illness, Kayleigh believes the body is the ultimate resource for healing and wellness. She continues to study the innate power of the body to heal itself through the work of Somatic Experiencing and blend of SE within the coaching framework.
