"Mindfulness Of Our Frustrations"
Thursday, August 9th 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
Location: 2041 Larkin St. Russian Hill. Hosted at The Church for the Fellowships of All Peoples.
Our Frustrations can have a sense of anxiety to them. As we find the world and others not meeting our needs and/or are acting the way our mind believes they should.
We might easily become agitated, angry, blameful, jealous, feel hopeless and many other emotions begin sticking to our frustrations and discomfort until everything spins out of control.
This evening workshop will be an opportunity for all of us to look more mindfully and investigate some of the causes behind our frustrations. We might find more clarity that allows for a space between the emotions and feelings before they take over. Allowing ourselves to pause the frustration and not build it onto the next moment is taking ourselves off the constant rollercoaster we keep climbing onto.
We are supported by the practice of shared generosity. The workshop is offered on a dana/donation basis. Suggested donation $10-$20. No one turned away due to lack of funds.
Facilitator: Rik Center, Cofounder of the MCC, Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, Somatic Stress & Trauma Counselor/Practitioner and Buddhist/Interfaith Chaplain.
