Mindfulness Care Center Tuesday Evening Meditation Class:  7:00pm - 8:45pm

Location On Russian Hill: 2041 Larkin Street (between Vallejo & Broadway). San Francisco, CA 94109

Open To Beginners or Advanced Meditation Practitioners.

Our group utilizes a vipassana practice of “insight awareness” meditation which offers us the opportunity to slow down and look within.

“The depth of sitting in stillness with a compassionate heart is limitless.”

The evening consists of a 35/40 minute sitting, talk and discussion.

The Tuesday Evening Meditation class is offered on a dana/donation basis, the MCC is supported by the practice of shared generosity.

The group is led by Rik Center Co-Founder of the MCC/Mindfulness Care Center.  Rik is a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, SE/Somatic Experiencing Stress and Trauma Counselor/Practitioner, plus he has served as a Buddhist/Interfaith Chaplain at San Francisco General Hospital. He facilitates and leads a variety of mindfulness classes based around embodied practices of healing stress, unresolved anxieties, grief and losses.  Rik has a private practice working one-on-one with his clients that focuses on healing high levels of unresolved traumatic anxiety and PTSD along with offering grief and spiritual counseling.  Rik began his meditation practice in the late 80’s and has sat over 365 days in Meditation Retreats. He's connected to Abhayagiri a “Theravada Thai Forest Monastery” in Redwood Valley practicing in the Ajahn Chah Lineage with his spiritual friends and teacher Ajahn Pasanno.
