Set the intention of peace through the holidays and rejuvenate your sense of inner balance with the practices of yoga, meditation, and yoga nidra. Experience the restorative effects of these supportive practices to help manage stress and teach the body how to tap into calm and ease.
* Guided meditation will set the intention for the practice and hold space for deeper mind-body connection.
*A thoughtful hatha flow sequence will open up the physical body to release tension, foster felt-sense awareness, and balance breath and movement.
* Yoga Nidra will guide the mind towards blissful relaxation. Yoga Nidra invites us to enter the space of deep relaxation, between sleep and wakefulness.
This workshop is open to all levels of practitioners. Modifications will be offered to those with physical limitations.
This class is offered on donation. The MCC operates on the cycle of generosity for all to be able to attend classes and programs.
